I don'tknow if anybody reads these things any more but I saw an
interesting
app being demonstrated on a TV Tech programme the other day.
Facial recognition has been in use for some time now, usually by the
policae and it is, we are told, undefeatable by glassses, false moustaches
etc;
The lates gimmick, just leaving the prototype stage, is atype of lie
detector.
You point a camera at somebody and ask them questilons. You get a red
light for lie and a green one for true.
The police are triealling this but the programme suggested that this could
soon be an App on a cellphone. I think we have alll been lied to, scrouged
off and generally let down by 'friends'
If you could just play with your 'phone while listening to thewm, it could
be quite iseful. and even save you money. I think I will buy one when it
appear :-)
