Hi Barry and all,
Eco, economy, the economy, echoes, it goes on and on. As always it's the law
of unintended concequences and speculators on Wall Street and elswhere go
running in all directions while we run for cover, mostly shelter with a
little heat if you please.
Oh I know about imports and how they're ruled by Enviromental Protection,
regardless of domestic production we rely on the Middle East being the only
source of sweet crude. That for those just returning from Mars is low sulfur
oil that requires less refining (read less expensive) to be used as heating
and motor fuels. Domestic whether from conventional wells or fracking
(another can of worms) goes mostly for lubricants where sulfur and molebdinum
among other additives vastly improve performance.
Then there are those beloved greenies, Obama being one opposed to fracking
and the Keysone Pipeline I like to call the Banzai Pipeline and not because
it's a wave in Hawaii surfers love. This not being the best place for
politics I won't go into rant mode, I'm sure most who are smart enough to get
here and read this are smart enough to keep up with current events.
