Hello Adrian;

Welcome to the world of packet radio! Many consider it dead and useless
however it still is a rock-solid base technology especially where ecomm
is concerned.

I'm surprised you decided to port KA9Q over when JNOS2 is readily available.
While the coding aspect is fun and educational, it wasn't necessary to re-
invent the wheel. Good luck in your project however!

To the best of my knowledge there's only 4 stacks (3 user and the kernel
stack). JNOS2, BPQ, and X-Router along with the kernel stack. I will say
however from testing all of them you won't get faster packet switching
and networking from any of the user space stacks as you will directly
from the kernel stack. X-net hasn't been under development for about 15
years now and introduced INP3. Great for RF, horrible for axip links.

Since you're familiar with networking you'll know that even with user space
stacks, frames still have to get to the kernel so it can hand it off to
the user space app.

I hope this information helps.
