Date : 16 / 02 / 2022
Author : Lee Moyle - VK3GK

ACMA updates its spectrum management work program.

ACMA have released their 6-month progress report for the Five-year spectrum outlook 2021–26 (FYSO), covering 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2021.

The report shows ACMA are largely on track to deliver their 2021–22 spectrum management work program.

ACMA expect to consult on the draft FYSO 2022–27 in March.

FYSO 2021–26 provides a broad overview of trends that affect spectrum management and factors used to inform the ACMA's planning and spectrum allocation priorities.

FYSO 2021–26 includes a detailed annual work program, with activities and milestones for the 2021–22 financial year.

ACMA's extensive planning activity to support their deployment of 5G services in Australia continues to inform priorities in our allocation workplan.
