Hi,
If you don't use the internal bbs of XNet and get the annoying "bbs is not
active" message when you type b(ye).., you can solve this.
First make a backup of the file!
Edit the main executable linuxnet (mcedit will do) and look for the command
bbs.
There are several occurring bbs items, you only need the one in the command
set, that is the one a bit on the right from another command: "attach".
Replace bbs with xxx. Save and test.
When typing xxx you will get the bbs not active message.
Then, make 1 macro: B.MAC, fil it with just a "q", for quit. Typing B, will let
you quit XNet.
Then make a second macro: BBS.MAC, in there place c <your favourite bbs> ie c
pi8cdr. This makes that you connect the favourite bbs wen typing bbs (or bb).

ps did you know XNet is running quite well on a raspberry pi 2b? Use box86 (on
github https://github.com/ptitSeb/box86) to let i386 programs run on armhf (not
arm64!).
at pi1cdr - pi 2b - just a lousy 6% cpu is used by xnet and its box86.
